The Game Changer in Digital Investments
The Digital Investment Office (DIO) is a collaborative platform between the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) and Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) to coordinate and facilitate all digital investments (foreign and local) into the country.
Aimed at strengthening the coordination among all Investment Promotion Agencies (IPAs), the DIO offers an agile incentives regime with optimised solutioning to meet investor needs including the MSC Malaysia initiative, Digital Ecosystem Acceleration Scheme, and bespoke solutions based on location.
The DIO also offers talent facilitation including upskilling and reskilling subsidy programmes and structured freelancer and digital nomad communities.

About MIDA
MIDA is the Governmen's principal investment promotion and development agency under the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) to oversee and drive investments into the manufacturing and services sectors in Malaysia. The establishment of MIDA in 1967 was hailed by the World Bank as "the necessary impetus for purposeful, positive and coordinated promotional action" for Malaysia's industrial development.
